Insub Meta Orchestra
IMO is a very large improviser ensemble, founded in September 2010. I usually gather per concert between 35 and 60 musicians from all Switzerland and beyond.
The orchestra seeks to develop collective listening and playing, as in free as in conducted improvisation. IMO is the image of a music scene and a musicians’ network. It’s a space of share and exchange.
Duo Hans Koch / Thomas Peter

This duo has been performing since 2013. The musicians combine their wide experiences in the field of Improvisation, Jazz, Contemporary Music and Electronic Music in this free-improvised project.
The collaboration expresses their music in a complex and versatile sound field. The goal is not to communicate in a direct dialog, but rather to strobe a common sound space, which allows a multilayered musical result. Due to Kochs immense sound-repertoire and Peters live produced electroacoustic sound-creations, they produce noisy, heterogene and interwoven sound-moments, interrupted by calm, harmonic and carving sound passages. They have been on tour in Asia/Pacific and Argentina/Chile, and were part of the sonic mountain project with Christian Kobi, Klaus Philip, Franz Hautzinger, Taku Sugimoto.
Their CD Wucherungen was honored by the New York Distribution squidsear as one of the top 25 of the year 2016.
